[origin: EP2999171A1] Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus and a system for establishing an optical bypass, which relates to the technical field of the Internet. The method comprises: a route controller sending an optical bypass establishment request to an optical transmission controller, the optical bypass establishment request carrying an inbound node, an outbound node, and information about a required bandwidth; and when an establishment success notification sent by the optical transmission controller is received, the route controller setting a second flow forwarding entry corresponding to the optical bypass for the inbound node and the outbound node, and separately sending the set second flow forwarding entry to the inbound node and the outbound node, the establishment success notification being used for indicating that the optical transmission controller allocates the optical bypass according to the optical bypass establishment request, sets a first flow forwarding entry corresponding the bypass for each optical transmission device in the optical bypass, and sends the set first flow forwarding entry to a corresponding optical transmission device. By using the present invention, the utilization rate of network resources can be improved.
