[origin: WO2014187445A1] The invention relates to a motor vehicle door closure comprising a locking mechanism (1, 2, 3) having a rotary latch (1) and a locking pawl (3) for locking the rotary latch (1). Said door closure also comprises a blocking pawl (2) for blocking the locking pawl (1) when engaging, a release lever (4) for releasing the locking pawl (1), and a locking lever (10) that blocks the locking mechanism (1, 2, 3) at least in the event of acceleration forces of a predetermined magnitude occurring, for example in an accident (impact). According to the invention, the release lever (4) and the locking lever (10) are arranged about an axis (5). This results in a particularly simple lock design.
