[origin: WO2014188133A1] The invention relates to a device for determining the absolute pressure in a cylinder (2) of a heat engine (1) provided with a cylinder head, said cylinder (2) comprising a movable piston (4), capable of delimiting a combustion chamber (6) having a variable volume, said device comprising at least one first sensor implanted in said cylinder head to measure a relative pressure in said combustion chamber (6) during an engine cycle. The main feature of a device according to the invention is that it comprises at least one second pressure sensor (7), of which the position in the cylinder (2) allows a measurement of the absolute pressure in the combustion chamber (6) only when the volume of said chamber (6) approaches a maximum value, the pressure measurements obtained with each first sensor and with each second sensor (7) being combined to determine the absolute pressure in the combustion chamber (6) during a complete engine cycle.
