[origin: WO2014188141A1] A ballistic protection device (3) for protecting an outer wall (2) of a structure, comprising at least one ballistic protection element (4) and at least one pair of link arm assemblies linking the protection element (4) to said wall (2), each arm assembly being provided with linking means for linking pivotally to said wall (2), which allow pivoting about a first axis, and being pivotally linked to the element (4) about a second axis parallel to the first axis, the arm assemblies being of the same length and being disposed in such a way as to allow the element (4) to be moved between positions separated from and close to the wall (2), while remaining parallel to same, characterised by the fact that the first and second axes are positioned in such a way as to be parallel to the mean plane of the wall (2) and orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of said median plane.
