Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3006849A1] To provide a dehumidifier that performs appropriate dehumidification control according to use situations around the dehumidifier. To achieve the object, the dehumidifier includes: a casing; blowing means for taking indoor air in and blowing the indoor air out of the casing; dehumidification means for dehumidifying the indoor air taken into the casing; air temperature detection means for measuring a temperature of the indoor air; air direction variable means capable of varying an air direction of dry air obtained by dehumidifying the indoor air by the dehumidification means when the dry air is blown out of the casing; surface temperature detection means for detecting a surface temperature of a site located in a blowing direction of the dry air; and control means for controlling the each means, wherein the control means divides a region to which the air direction variable means can blow air into a plurality of blocks, causes the surface temperature detection means to detect the surface temperature of each block, calculates a temperature difference between the temperature of the indoor air and the surface temperature, and compares the temperature difference with a predetermined first determination temperature, thereby determining whether or not an object to be dried is located in the block.
