[origin: WO2014198576A1] The invention relates to a method for producing heat- and wear-resistant molded parts, in particular engine components, using Fe- or Co-based sintering materials. According to the invention, a water-atomized Fe- or Co-based sintering material is produced which has a grain size of > 10 µm, preferably > 30 µm and particularly preferably > 50 µm, and the material is treated according to the method steps of agglomerating, spray drying, compressing, sintering, and finally reworking the sintering material.
