[origin: WO2014198429A1] The invention relates to a spacer (I) for insulating glazings, at least comprising a polymeric main body (1). The polymeric main body comprises a first pane contact surface (2.1), a second pane contact surface (2.2) extending parallel to the first pane contact surface, a first glazing interior surface (3.1),a second glazing interior surface (3.2), and an outer surface (4). According to the invention, a groove (6) for receiving a pane extends parallel to the first pane contact surface (2.1) and second pane contact surface (2.2) between the first glazing interior surface (3.1) and the second glazing interior surface (3.2), at least one tongue (18) is located above the first glazing interior surface (3.1) and/or second glazing interior surface (3.2), at least one lateral flank (7) of the groove (6) surrounds the tongue (18), and the tongue (18) and the polymeric main body (1) are integrally formed.
