[origin: WO2014198417A1] The invention relates to a cooling and/or freezing device, comprising at least one body (K), in which at least one cooled interior is arranged, and at least one closing element (T), in particular at least one door (T), by means of which the cooled interior can be closed, wherein the body (K) has one or more body contact elements (100, 120) and the closing element (T) has one or more closing-element contact elements (220) for transferring current from the body (K) into the closing element (T), and wherein at least one switch (300) is provided, which enables current flow through the contact elements (100, 120, 220) in the closed state and prevents current flow through the contact elements (100, 120, 220) in the open state, wherein the switch (300) is arranged in such a way that the switch is switched from the open state thereof to the closed state thereof when a certain closing angle of the closing element (T) is reached, and wherein the switch (300) furthermore is arranged in such a way that the switch is switched to the closed state as soon as or after the closing-element contact elements (220) are connected to the body contact elements (100, 120).
