[origin: EP3009773A1] An air conditioning apparatus having a refrigerant circuit configured by connecting a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, a first expansion valve (24), a receiver (25), an opening/closing valve, and an indoor heat exchanger, wherein the fully-closing first expansion valve (24) is provided to the refrigerant circuit (10) in a first disposed state in which refrigerant from the receiver (25) flows in to a needle advancing direction side of a valve seat (55). The first expansion valve (24) provided in the first disposed state has a spring (62) for urging a needle (61) in the needle advancing direction.
