[origin: CA2915666A1] The wire twisting pliers comprise a reversible transformation device (200) comprising a casing (7), a double helix (61, 62) pin (6), separate right-hand (128a, b) and left-hand (129a, b) guiding elements, housed in a single drum (11) and radially movable between a drive position in which one is directly and forcefully engaged in said right-hand (61) or left-hand (62) helix and couples said casing (7) to said drum (11), the other is free to retract from said right-hand (61) or left-hand (62) helix, said casing (7) being movable between right- and left-hand positions in which said right-hand (128a, b) and left-hand (129a, b) guiding elements are respectively in the drive position of same, free or vice versa. The present invention also concerns reversible wire twisting pliers (1) comprising such a transformation device (200).
