[origin: WO2014202852A2] The invention relates to an grip-enhancing device for motor vehicle wheels, comprising a fabric grip strip (3) which is intended to contact at least the tread of the tire of the wheel in question and is held in place by means of partially elastic side strips (5) extending substantially along the sidewalls of said tire. The grip strip consists of a dual-layered fabric having an outer layer which uses two types of multifilament yarn having different sizes.
