[origin: WO2014202119A1] The invention relates to a bridge element (10) for creating a mobile bridge (100) formed by a plurality of bridge elements (10), the bridge element (10) comprising: a bridge segment (20) that can be driven on; at least one support-leg pair pivotably supported on an end of the bridge segment (20), the support legs (30) being designed as variable-length telescopic legs; and a winch for setting the length of the support legs (30). According to the invention. the winch is designed as an electric-motor-driven or hydraulically driven cable winch (50), which cable winch (50) takes in or lets out a cable connected to the telescopically extendable segment of the support legs (30), and an electric-motor-driven or hydraulically driven locking mechanism (60) is provided for locking the support legs (30) at a length set by the cable winch (50).
