[origin: WO2014206979A1] The invention concerns a method and a shaping tool for producing a fibre composite hollow component. The method comprises the following steps: (a) preparing an inflatable support structure (2); (b) applying fibrous material (4) to the support structure (2) in order to produce a preform (1); (c) introducing the preform (1) on the support structure (2) into a shaping tool (6); and (d) generating excess pressure (P) inside the support structure (2) such that the preform (1) is urged by the support structure (2) against shaping faces (7a, 8a) of the shaping tool (6). According to the invention, the support structure (2) comprises at least in sections a corrugated hose (3) or a corrugated hose-like element. The invention further concerns a shaping tool for producing a fibre composite hollow component from a preform comprising a fibrous material (4) which is applied to an inflatable support structure (2), the shaping tool (6) being designed and arranged to accommodate the preform (1) on the support structure (2) and introduce excess pressure (P) into the interior of the support structure (2).
