[origin: WO2014206610A1] The invention relates to a nozzle assembly for a fuel injector, comprising a nozzle body (1) and a nozzle needle (2) which is received in a high-pressure bore (4) of the nozzle body (1) such that the needle can carry out a stroke movement in order to release and close at least one injection opening (3). A cone-shaped high-pressure bore (4) portion (6), which transitions into a blind hole-like end portion (5), sealingly interacts with a cone-shaped nozzle needle (2) sealing surface (8), on which a pin (9) that can be immersed into the blind hole-like end portion (5) is placed, in order to form a valve seat (7). According to the invention, a guide region (10) in the proximity of the valve seat is formed upstream of the valve seat (7) between the nozzle needle (2) and the nozzle body (1) in order to permanently guide the nozzle needle (2) in the high-pressure bore (4), the radial guide clearance of the guide region being smaller than a radial gap (11) between a cylindrical part of the blind hole-like end portion (5) of the high-pressure bore (4) and a cylindrical part of the pin (9) of the nozzle needle (2) in order to form a stroke-dependent throttle.
