[origin: WO2014206764A1] The invention relates to a pressure control valve (10) which comprises a housing (20) having an inlet opening (16) and an outflow opening (18); a valve seat (14) in the housing (20) at the end of the inlet opening (16); a valve pin (12), which is guided in the housing (20) and which has an actuating element (12b) for closing the valve seat (14); and a sealing element (42, 42') on an end of the actuating element (12b), which sealing element is designed to be deposited in the valve seat (14) when the valve pin (12) is moved, such that a fluid flow between the inlet opening (16) and the outflow opening (18) is interrupted. The actuating element (12b) is guided in a guide (26) in the housing (20) and comprises at least one side channel (60), which is designed to conduct fluid from the inlet opening (16) through the guide (26) in the direction of the outflow opening (18).
