[origin: US2016123284A1] Proposed is a throttle valve apparatus for an internal combustion engine, with a housing and an intake pipe comprising a through-flow cross section and a throttle valve that is pivotable relative to the through-flow cross section, which is actuatable by means of a throttle valve shaft and with an actuating device arranged on the housing, by means of which the throttle valve can be releasably fixed in a cold starting position in which the through-flow cross section is at least partially opened.

Es wird eine Drosselklappeneinrichtung (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine (8) vorgeschlagen, mit einem Gehäuse (3) und einem einen Durchströmungsquerschnitt aufweisenden Saugrohr (7) und einer relativ zum Durchströmungsquerschnitt verschwenkbaren Drosselklappe (6), die mittels einer Drosselklappenwelle (5) betätigbar ist und mit einer am Gehäuse (3) angeordneten Stelleinrichtung (2), mittels der die Drosselklappe (6) in einer den Durchströmungsquerschnitt zumindest teilweise frei gebenden Kaltstartstellung lösbar festlegbar ist.
