Provided is an indoor unit (100) including: a main body (1) including an air inlet (2) and an air outlet (3); and a cross-flow fan (8) including an impeller (8a), in which the impeller includes a plurality of blades (8c), in which the blades each include a step (16) formed on a suction surface (13b) or a pressure surface (13a), in which the step is formed so that a fan inner peripheral-side part is further projected than a fan outer peripheral-side part, and in which the step is formed so as to extend obliquely with respect to a rotation axis of the impeller, to thereby vary in height over a direction of the rotation axis of the impeller.
