[origin: EP3016210A1] An electrical outlet includes a housing (1), shutters (6a, 6b), and a movement restricting structure. The housing (1) has plug ports (41a, 41b). The shutters (6a, 6b) are associated with the plug ports (41a, 41b). Each of the shutters (6a, 6b) is free to move between a closing position at which both two insertion holes (42a, 42b) of an associated plug port (41a, 41b) are closed by and an opening position at which both the two insertion holes (42a, 42b), and configured to move from a side of the closing position to a side of the opening position while the two contacts are inserted into. The movement restricting structure is provided correspondingly to each of the plug ports (41a, 41b), and is configured to, when a contact is inserted into only either one of two insertion holes (42a, 42b) of a corresponding plug port (41a, 41b), block a movement toward a side of an opening position of the shutter (6a, 6b).
