[origin: WO2014138784A1] A shell and tube heat exchanger arrangement comprising at least two interconnected heater cells (30), the heater cells (30) each in turn comprising a plurality of inner tubes (36) defining a tube side of the heat exchanger and being housed within an outer shell (34) defining a shell side of the heat exchanger, characterised in that the inner tubes (36) each project beyond the outer shell (34) at one end thereof at which point they are each connected to an intermediate pipe member (44) by way of which that heater cell (30) may be connected to another heater cell.
