The container-inspection device (10) comprises at least one light (11, 12, 13) for illuminating containers (2) in a predetermined inspection cycle for inspection of the containers (2), the container-inspection device (10) being designed to actuate the at least one light (11, 12, 13) such that a person (7) perceives the at least one light (11, 12, 13) as illuminating constantly irrespective of the inspection cycle. As a result, damage to people's health, in particular epileptic attacks, can be avoided.
