Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015003796A1] The invention relates to a mechanism (4) for an office chair (1). The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing an office chair (1) which has a mechanism (4) that is constructed particularly simply in design terms and is therefore comparatively inexpensive but nevertheless extremely variable. This problem is solved through a design in which, while forming a common pivot axis (25), both the seat support (6) is connected in articulated manner to the base support (14) with the aid of at least one pivot pin (10) and can be pivoted relative to the base support (14), and also the backrest support (8) is connected in an articulated manner to the base support (14) with the aid of said at least one pivot pin (10) and can be pivoted relative to the base support (14).
