[origin: WO2015003813A1] The invention relates to a device (2) for making electrically conductive contact with an electrically conductive, in particular elongate, for example substantially cylindrical, body (4, 4'), for example a tube or a cable. The device (2) according to the invention is provided with a main body (11), comprising a metal carrier element (12) which is formed as a clip that can be clamped around the body (4) with which contact is to be made and which carrier element (12) is open in the circumferential direction (14). The device (2) according to the invention also has connecting means (18), comprising at least one connecting member (20), by means of which the ends of the carrier element (12) that are free in the circumferential direction (14) can be connected or are connected to each other when in the mounted position. In addition, a device (2) according to the invention has contact means (24) for producing an electrically conductive connection between the body (4) with which contact is to be made and a conductor (27), in particular an earthing cable. The invention is characterised in that the connecting member (20) is designed and configured to interact with guide means (28) for guiding the movement of the connecting member (20) in a translatory manner, said guide means being arranged at the free ends (22, 22') of the carrier element (12), in such a manner that, when the device (2) is in the mounted position, a translatory movement of the connecting member (20) between a guide start A and a guide end E of the guide means (28) effects a form fit, which is in particular detachable in a destruction-free manner, for connection of the free ends (22, 22') of the carrier element (12).
