Abstract (en)

[origin: CN105479945A] A method for automatically compensating print nozzles failing in an inkjet printing machine by means of a control computer, comprises the steps of: calculating, by the computer, all reduced color profiles resulting from the used process colors and each with a lack of process color; detecting, by the computer, a nozzle failure of a print nozzle with one of the process colors during the execution of a print order; acquiring, by the computer, the rated color coordinate of a position, which is printed by the failed pressure nozzle, on a print substrate; acquiring, by the computer, the replacement color coordinate with minimal chromatic aberration relative to the the rated color coordinate of a position, which is printed by the failed pressure nozzle, on a print substrate; selecting a suitable reduced color profile depending on the lack of process color of the detected failing print nozzle; resuming a printing task at the position printed by the failed print nozzle on the print substrate by using a combination acquired by the rest process colors.
