[origin: EP3021342A1] Provided is a contact mechanism for engaging driving projections 43, 44 provided on one end of a slidable card 40 with a distal end of a movable contact plate 60 and sliding the card to rotate the movable contact plate, causing movable contacts 56,57 on the movable contact plate to connect with and disconnect from stationary contacts 52, 53. The mechanism comprises a pair of driving projections on one end of the card and projected in opposite directions from neighborhood corners of the one end of the card, and a pair of returning elastic tongues 67b, 67c disposed so that they can make contacts with the driving projections. When the movable contacts are in contact with the stationary contacts, a distance between one of the driving projections 44 and one of the returning elastic tongues 67b is smaller than that between the other of the driving projections 43 and the other of the returning elastic tongues 67c.
