Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015008125A1] The invention relates to a drafting unit (1) for processing at least one fibre sliver (2) in a spinning machine, wherein the drafting unit (1) has at least one drafting zone (3) which is formed between a feed roller pair (4) and a delivery roller pair (5), wherein the feed roller pair (4) and the delivery roller pair (5) are each made up of a lower roller (7, 9) and an upper roller (6, 8), and the drafting zone (3) is assigned a fibre guiding device (10) which has a fibre guiding tape (11), circulating about a roller of the feed roller pair (4), and a fibre guiding element (12) which bears against the fibre guiding tape (11), wherein the at least one fibre sliver (2) is guided between the fibre guiding tape (11) and the fibre guiding element (12). In order to ensure sufficient guidance of the fibre sliver (2) in the fibre guiding device (10), the fibre guiding element (12) is configured as an elastic spring element which has a fibre guiding face (27).
