[origin: US2016141128A1] A temperature-dependent switch has a housing whereon a first and at least one second connection surface are arranged for the galvanic attachment of connection leads. Within the housing a temperature-dependent switching mechanism is arranged, which produces or opens an electrically conductive connection between the two connection surfaces depending on the temperature of said switching mechanism. The connection leads are connected via the inner ends thereof to the connection surfaces by one-sided spot welding.
