[origin: WO2016083045A1] The invention relates to a grinding bowl, in particular for vertical mills. On account of the demand for ever greater throughputs in vertical mills, the grinding bowls are also inevitably increasing in size in terms of outside diameter, height and weight. In order to overcome the associated problems of the production and transport of such a large assembly as an integral grinding bowl, especially to application sites in areas with poor infrastructure, the invention provides a multipart grinding bowl which has a plurality of upper ring segments which are placed on an integral lower base module so as to create a grinding bowl which meets even the highest load requirements.
