[origin: JP2016102794A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annual or permanent calendar mechanism capable of being locally or wholly reduced in at least one portion of a bulk.SOLUTION: In an annual or permanent calendar mechanism, a lever 21 supports handling units 22, 45, 49 of a day gear 23. A month gear unit 25 includes a month gear 25 and defines progress starting part stoppers 76. Each of the progress starting part stoppers 76 relates to one month, and controls a progress starting position of the lever 21 when the month gear unit 25 is at an angle position relating to the month. These progress starting part stoppers 76 are bottoms of grooves 72-75 arrayed alternately with teeth 70 of the month gear 25. The month gear 25 has a periphery 71 forming an outline of the teeth 70 and the progress starting part stoppers 76.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
