[origin: WO2015014451A1] In order to recover steam when fibrous materials are being processed, wherein raw material to be processed, e.g., chips, is fed successively to a pre-steamer (1), a digester (4), a refiner (9) and through a blower line (6) to a dryer (7), steam is removed continuously from the fibrous material-steam mixture after the refiner (9) and before the dryer (7) and the steam removed is fed to the pre-steamer (1) and/or to the digester (4).
