Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a transport device for transporting objects, particularly a transport cart for transporting luggage in airports, and a storage system configured for such carts. Carts usually include an anchoring so that they can be stored consecutively such that each cart has an anchoring and a key linked, for example, by means of a chain section, configured for being anchored in the anchoring of the adjacent cart. Therefore, there is a plurality of consecutively stored, aligned and arranged carts that are all connected to one another. In general, these carts are configured for introducing a coin or token in the anchoring device which allows releasing the cart such that it can be used by the user upon being separated from the row. The invention relates to a cart that does not use any token for releasing carts from the anchoring and to a storage system configured for such carts.
