Dispositif de coupure (400) présentant un mécanisme d'ouverture et de fermeture d'au moins un contact électrique entre une ligne électrique amont et une ligne électrique aval. Le mécanisme d'ouverture et de fermeture comprend une chambre de coupure (420) comportant une culasse (402), une corne d'arc (401) et un sous ensemble appelé déion (440). La corne d'arc (401) comprend une pièce recourbée (407). La culasse (402) présente une ouverture longitudinale. La corne d'arc (401) se termine en outre par une portion plane se logeant dans l'ouverture longitudinale de sorte à être parallèle et alignée avec celle-ci.
