[origin: WO2015018819A1] The invention relates to a device (10) for producing a net-like thread arrangement with intersecting longitudinal (3, 3a, 3b) and transverse threads (2), comprising: at least one rotor arm (5) with a transverse thread laying device (4) and two transverse thread placement screws (1) which are arranged at a distance to each other in the transverse thread placement direction (y), receive loops (2´) of the transverse thread (2) fed by the rotor arms (5) in the threads of the screws, and release the loops at the free ends (1a) of the screws and place same transversely to the longitudinal threads (3, 3a, 3b). According to the invention, at least one auxiliary device for controlling the placement of the transverse thread loops (2´) is provided in the region of the free ends (1a) of the transverse thread placement screws (1). The auxiliary device comprises a left and a right pair of closed continuous belts (30, 31) which can be oriented such that in each pair, a first continuous belt (30) is fed onto a transverse thread loop (2´) to be placed from above and a second continuous belt (31) is fed onto said transverse thread loop from below, said continuous belts enclosing the transverse thread loop (2´) between one another in a force-fitting manner. The continuous belts (30, 31) further transport the transverse thread loops (2´) enclosed between the belts in a controlled manner and place the loops at precisely defined distances, whereby a highly uniform net-like thread arrangement is produced.
