[origin: CA2913837A1] The invention relates to a device for conveying and transferring flexible, flat objects, with a gripper conveyor, comprising a plurality of grippers which are movable along a conveying path (U) in a conveying direction (F1), further with a conveying-way device which forms a conveying rest which in a transfer region (T) is arranged below the conveying path (U), in a manner such that objects which are released from grippers in the transfer region (T) are deposited onto the conveying rest. The device comprises a pressing circulatory device which acts upon the transfer region (T) and is with a plurality of outwardly directed pressing arms. The pressing circulatory device is designed, in the transfer region (T), to press the objects to be transferred, with the pressing arms, onto the conveying rest in a manner such that the objects can be deposited onto the conveying rest in a guided and controlled manner.
