[origin: EP3032061A1] An inlet flange for an aftertreatment system component comprises a flange body (300) and an inlet deflector assembly (200) to deflect and expand exhaust gas from the inlet (312) outwardly as the exhaust gas flows towards an aftertreatment component (410), such as an selective catalytic reduction catalyst, a diesel particulate filter, and/or a diesel oxidation catalyst. The inlet deflector assembly (200) may include a first deflection member (210), a second deflection member (220), and a third deflection member (230). The first deflection member (210), the second deflection member (220), and the third deflection member (230) are configured to deflect fluid flow outwardly away from a longitudinal axis (350) defined by a flange inlet opening (312).
