According to the invention, a first machine plane (B1), which is associated with one or a plurality of first printing units, is provided. A storage (22) is associated with the printing tower, wherein said storage can be moved between a removal position (P124.2A) located in the region of the first machine plane and a loading position (P17.2; P124.2B) which is vertically spaced apart therefrom by a conveyor system (43, 44), the loading position being associated with the second printing unit(s) of the printing tower with a view to feeding printing forms. During the changeover of the printing forms, received printing forms are transported via the vertically movable storage.
