[origin: WO2015024980A1] The invention relates to an inflatable sleeve (13) including: a mandrel (15) extending in a longitudinal direction; an inflatable casing (17) placed around the mandrel (15); and a tubular sheath (19) slid onto the casing (17). The tubular sheath (19) has a central section (27) and first and second longitudinal ends (23, 25) that are located on either side of the central section (27), the first and/or second ends (23, 25) of the tubular sheath (19) being attached to the mandrel (15), and the tubular sheath (19) being extendable from a rest state to an expanded state. The tubular sheath (19) has a predetermined capacity for circumferential elongation from the rest state of the tubular sheath (19); and the first and/or second ends (23, 25) of the tubular sheath (19) have a capacity for longitudinally elongating by between 105% and 250% from the rest state of the tubular sheath (19), said capacity being selected such as to limit the diametric expansion of the first and/or second ends (23, 25) of the tubular sheath (19) and give the shape thereof to said first and/or second ends (23, 25).
