Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015024551A1] The invention relates to a sub-assembly (100) consisting of a piston (10) and an injection nozzle (30) for the cooling oil of an internal combustion engine. The piston comprises a piston head (11) and a piston skirt (21), said piston head (11) comprising a piston crown (13) having an underside (13a), a circumferential ring part (16), and a circumferential cooling channel (17) in the region of the ring part (16) and having at least one supply opening (19) for the cooling oil. The injection nozzle (30) is provided below the piston skirt (21). According to the invention, the piston (10) also comprises a flow divider (25) for the cooling oil on the underside (13a) of the piston crown (13) and adjacent to the at least one supply opening (19) for the cooling oil. The injection nozzle (30) is arranged below the flow divider (25) and oriented towards the flow divider (25).
