The invention also relates to a method for inserting the bristle bundle into the opening of the bundle carrier, especially by the brush manufacturing machine according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the method comprises the following steps of supplying bristle for forming the bristle bundle to the bundle receiver with at least two bundle housing grooves; properly positioning the bundle carrier relative to the bundle receiver; mechanically inserting the bristle bundle into at least one opening of the bundle carrier.
