[origin: WO2015028249A1] The invention relates to a method for filling containers (2) with a liquid content under pressure using a filling system (1, 1a) with at least one filling element (3, 3a). The interior of the container (2) is evacuated prior to initiating a filling phase in at least one evacuation and flushing phase by connecting the container interior to a vacuum channel (18, 18a), and the container interior which has been evacuated and additionally connected to the vacuum channel (18, 18a) is then flushed with a flushing or inert gas, for example CO2 gas.
