Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015028151A1] The invention relates to a vibratory mill having a grinding vessel, at least one grinding tool which is movable inside the grinding vessel and a magnetic or magnetisable component, and having an exciter system for generating a magnetic field, wherein the magnetic field effects a movement of the at least one grinding tool. The exciter system is arranged around the grinding vessel and is designed to generate a surrounding magnetic field, wherein a magnetic pressing device is provided for setting the surface pressure between the grinding tool and a base of the grinding vessel. In the method according to the invention for operating a disc-type vibratory mill, a grinding tool having a magnetic or magnetisable component is moved inside a grinding vessel by means of a magnetic field, said magnetic field being generated as a surrounding magnetic field.
