Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015032819A1] The invention relates to a microscope comprising a lens which focuses the illuminating light onto an illuminating light focus point, and an optical fibre which transports the illuminating light, and a fibre coupler, which decouples the illuminating light from the optical fibre and generates a preferably collimated illuminating light bundle, is arranged on the end thereof. An element for changing the shape of the illuminating light focus point is arranged in or on the fibre coupler, said element being pre-aligned with respect to the illuminating light bundle which is to be decoupled.
