[origin: WO2015036037A1] The invention relates to a cleaning tool for a floor cleaning machine (10), comprising a cleaning action device (40) and a support part (38), on which the cleaning action device (40) is arranged, and by way of which the cleaning tool (22) can be fixed on the floor cleaning machine (10). The support part (38) has a receptacle (50) having a wall (52) and a receiving space (54) defined by the wall (52) for a tool holder head (24) of the floor cleaning machine (10). The wall (52) has a holding area (62) for the tool holder head (24), wherein the wall (52) has an insertion area (64) for the tool holder head (24), with the holding area (62) adjacent thereto. The receiving space (54) is expanded in the insertion area (64) as compared to the holding area (62), and tapers toward the holding area (62).
