[origin: WO2015036604A1] An angle-setting device (1) for use in a machine tool (2), especially a saw, said device having a pivot element (20, 120) which can be steplessly pivoted about a pivot point on a clamping block element (10) reversibly between at least a minimum angular position and a maximum angular position; and an angle preselection mechanism (4). The angle preselection mechanism (4) contains a stop plate (50, 150, 350) which can pivot relative to the clamping block element (10) and has at least one stop element (56, 57, 60, 156) for preselecting the maximum angular position of the pivot element relative to the clamping block element, at least one of the stop elements (56, 57, 69, 156) being in the form of an operating lever element (58) for preselecting the maximum angular position of the pivot element (20, 120) relative to the clamping block element (10).
