[origin: WO2015039865A1] The invention relates to a drive-in tool, comprising: a hand-held housing (1), which has an energy-transmitting element (2) accommodated therein for transmitting energy to a fastener to be driven in; and a drive apparatus (3) for conveying the energy-transmitting element (2); wherein the drive apparatus (3) comprises an energy accumulator having a gas chamber, which gas chamber can be filled with a driving gas at a defined overpressure, wherein the overpressure in the gas chamber (7) is present as stored driving energy before a drive-in process is triggered, and wherein a piston (2b) of the energy-transmitting element (2) forms a variable wall segment of the gas chamber (7), wherein the gas chamber (7) has at least one further variable wall segment (8, 11) for changing the chamber volume, wherein a movement of the variable wall segment (8, 11) that enlarges the chamber volume charges a mechanical energy accumulator (8, 13).
