Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015040136A2] The invention relates to a method for adapting a cylinder lift to a printing material change in printing machines, wherein the printing machine has at least two printing units, and within a printing process, the printing material has a print image in the printing units such that a printing form stretched onto a printing form cylinder is colorized. The print image such obtained is transferred to a printing material guided on a cylinder. The print image resulting from the elongations of the printing material occurring during the ongoing printing operation is thereby adapted thereto. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a method and a suitable device for adapting the cylinder lift to the printing material changes occurring due to printing, as a result of which the cylinder lift is only utilized to a limited extent. According to the invention, this problem is solved in that the adapting of the cylinder lift (8) to the printing material change occurs while in contact with the surface of at least one rotational body.
