Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a sorting apparatus comprising; at least one light source (1) generating a scanning line by sending concentrated light beam (2) onto a product stream (6, 27) for detecting and sorting of the unwanted objects (27) on said product stream (6, 27); detection means (11, 13) analyzing the light reflected from said product stream and generating electrical signals, and at least one diaphragm mirror with a hole (23) directing the reflected light component to the detection means (11, 13) without any loss. The invention also provides a sorting method implemented by this sorting apparatus.
