Abstract (en)

A hybrid vehicle that uses a combination of an engine (1) and a motor generator (2) as vehicle drive sources includes a crank angle sensor (23) for detecting an engine rotational speed, and an EV lamp (44) that displays an EV state in which only the motor generator (2) is used as the drive source. When in a non-EV state and the engine rotational speed is greater than a predetermined first threshold value (NE1), the EV lamp (44) is turned OFF. Conversely when in the EV state and the engine rotational speed is less than or equal to a predetermined second threshold value (NE2), the EV lamp (44) is turned ON.
