Abstract (en)
[origin: JP2016132855A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary nozzle that can be opened for cleaning without requiring excessive space.SOLUTION: The rotary nozzle of an air-jet spinning machine is used to manufacture a yarn from twisted fibers by air flow. The rotary nozzle comprises a swirl space, a yarn forming element 7, an air nozzle and a draw-off channel. A cover of the rotary nozzle has at least two cover segments 11 adjacent to the swirl space on their outer side. At least one of the cover segments 11 is supported by a guide 12 so that the segment can be shifted relatively to the other cover segment 11. The cover can be shifted from a closed position to an open position by the shift of the cover segment 11 supported by the guide 12. At least a position of the segment of the yarn forming element with an inlet opening part can be accessed by an operator and cleaned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
