[origin: WO2016120497A1] The present invention relates to a protective device for a system for closing a leatherwork item, said closure system being provided with a metal plate attached to a part of the leatherwork item. The protective device comprises a holder and a cover that can be assembled with the holder. The holder comprises retaining means arranged so as to partially and reversibly secure the holder to the metal plate. The cover comprises a locking means arranged so as to engage with the holder and the metal plate in order to lock the holder on the metal plate when the cover is assembled with the holder. The device also comprises means for locking the cover that are intended to keep the cover assembled with the holder.

Dispositif de protection d'un système de fermeture d'un article de maroquinerie, ledit système de fermeture étant muni d'une plaque métallique fixée sur une pièce de l'article de maroquinerie. Le dispositif de protection comporte un support et un capot susceptible d'être monté sur le support. Le support comporte des moyens de retenue agencés de manière à solidariser partiellement, et de façon réversible, le support à la plaque métallique. Le capot comporte un moyen de blocage agencé de manière à coopérer avec le support et la plaque métallique afin de bloquer le support sur la plaque métallique lors du montage du capot sur le support. Le dispositif comporte en outre des moyens de verrouillage du capot destinés à maintenir le capot monté sur le support.
