[origin: WO2015048837A1] The invention relates to a self-closing pourer (1) comprising a lower part (2) which can be connected to the container having a pouring opening (3) and an upper part (4) connected in an articulated manner to the lower part (2), wherein the upper part (4) has a cover portion (5) for closing the pouring opening (3), and wherein the upper part (4) has a spring portion (7) connected to the cover portion (5). Said spring portion is located on the opposing side of the cover portion (5) with respect to the axis of rotation (6), and has a curvature open towards the lower part (2), wherein by exertion of pressure on the spring portion (7) the aperture angle of the curvature can be changed and thus the spring tension can be increased, in that the free end (8) of the spring portion (7) facing away from the axis of rotation can be moved beyond an edge (9) delimiting the closed position. During opening after overshooting the edge (9) delimiting the closed position the free end (8) of the spring portion (7) is guided along a guide portion (10) arranged on the lower part, such that the spring tension of the spring portion (7) in each position extends between the axis of rotation (6) and the free end (8) of the spring portion (7).
